Overview:
This role serves as the owner responsible for meeting and exceeding the revenue targets of ASD in the region. This includes the identification and closure of new, high-value, revenue generating business opportunities, as well as the maintenance and monetization of existing betting clients. The duties of the Business Development Manager involve the development of relationships with betting operators, platforms and feed providers as well as internally with ASD stakeholders, ensuring a steady throughflow of prospects and upsell/renewal channels, market education and ongoing (event) networking and other commercial outreach.
The aim is to ensure the conversion of high-value clients who will generate target revenues to achieve business milestones.
The Business Development Manager will further ensure clients are effectively onboarded to facilitate client success in all required areas (Trading, Product, integrations, Compliance).. The Business Development Manager will remain the key commercial contact.
Other keys to success will also be ongoing relationship development, event presence, ad hoc client (sales) workshops, client education and ongoing operational or commercial support as a key point of contact.
Reporting Structure & Transition:
Success in this role will be measured in monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets. These include NGR and affiliate revenue as well as traditional support metrics. This role reports to the Head of Commercial Strategy, , and together will establish specific performance targets in the areas listed above.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Assisting in the identification, development and closure of new business and revenue opportunities across Europe.
- Managing / building the company sales and renewals ledger / funnel & revenue reporting.
- Identifying and attending conferences and other targeted opportunities to meet clients.
- Any required or assigned Client Management facilitating commercial growth.
- Business Strategy:
-Identifying and outlining new strategic business and revenue opportunities for Company
-Contributing to the production of corporate business plans, strategies and product development
-Appraising current business opps. to identify and communicate product requirements internally.
- Communicating the ASD marketing message and increase visibility in the marketplace.
- Contributing to all sales & marketing materials including websites, brochures and technical documentation.
- Ensure timely updating of Company CRM and production of regular status reports.
Revenue Targets & Milestones:
- The BDM shall attain or exceed the Revenue Targets outlined by the EVP Operations & Finance and updated on an ongoing basis.
- The BDM shall work with all stakeholders to periodically report on revenue growth / success in an acceptable format
- The BDM shall update and communicate projections and figures on an ongoing basis and ensure the Company CRM is consistently up-to-date.
