Job DescriptionSenior Android Developer Location: Remote | Start Date: Immediately | Long Term TalkHealthEdge is seeking a Senior Android Developer with strong expertise in Java and proven experience on platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, or Guru, with stellar client reviews and a solid history of delivering high-quality projects. As part of our Growth Engineering team, you’ll play a key role in expanding our platform globally by building features that convert, onboard, and retain users while collaborating with a world-class team of engineers. Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, data-driven, and fault-tolerant Android apps with a focus on smooth and seamless user experiences.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to develop features users will love.
• Lead end-to-end development cycles: technical design, coding, testing, experimentation, and iterative improvements.
• Maintain and implement best practices for Android development while mentoring and supporting team members when needed.
• Continuously learn and adopt new tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve your craft.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6+ years of android development experience with deep knowledge of Swift (Objective-C experience is a bonus).
• Proven track record of outstanding reviews and a strong portfolio on platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, or Guru.
• Experience building and deploying at least one exceptional Android app from concept to release.
• Strong foundation in software engineering fundamentals, with proven experience creating highly responsive, scalable, and secure mobile applications.
• Passion for creating solutions that impact lives, with a drive to innovate and improve.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work effectively with distributed teams.
