Contract Python/Django Developer

Remote (UK or Europe – must work UK time zone)

Start Date: April

£475 – £550 per day (outside IR35)

We’re hiring a contract Python/Django Developer to join fast-moving startup building something genuinely exciting. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who’s been on the startup journey before. You understand pace, uncertainty, and what it takes to ship quality code under pressure.

Tech Requirements

• Strong experience in Python and Django
• AWS infrastructure experience (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.)
• Experience integrating and consuming APIs
• Strong understanding of testing, performance, and deployment best practices
• Bonus: Experience with Go / Golang
• Previous experience working in an early-stage startup or scale-up

The Role

• Contract (outside IR35)
• £475 – £550/day
• Remote, but must work UK hours
• Start date: April
• Initial 3-month contract with likely extension
• Join a recently funded team with a brilliant product and big ambitions
