Who We Are

As our Full-Stack Developer, you’ll play a critical role in engineering Grey Matters' app, helping shape both the front and back end of our solution. You’ll work with SwiftUI for our iOS app, TypeScript for serverless backend services, and Postgres on AWS infrastructure. This isn’t just about writing great code, it’s about building an architecture that scales, iterating fast, and collaborating with a high-performing team.

Your work will allow our CTO to focus on evolving our AI components while you drive the engineering execution that makes it all possible.

What We’re Looking For:

• Full-Stack Mastery – You have deep experience with Swift (iOS frontend), TypeScript for serverless applications, and Postgres with Prisma.
• AWS Wizard – You’re comfortable with cloud-native architectures, specifically AWS Lambda, VPC, AppSync, Aurora, SQS, ECS, and Terraform.
• Builder Mentality – You don’t just code; you architect, optimise, and problem-solve.
• Startup-Ready – You’re comfortable with rapid iteration, solving real-world problems fast, and moving from MVP to scale.
• Team Player – You love working closely with product, design, and AI teams to create seamless integrations.
• Passionate About Ageing Well – You believe in our mission and want to contribute to a purpose-driven company.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Developing & Scaling – Build, refine, and optimize our iOS app using Swift and backend services in TypeScript, and deploying to an AWS Serverless environment.
• Architecting Solutions – Design scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Optimising Performance – Ensure smooth, fast, and reliable user experiences across mobile and backend components.
• Working Alongside Our CTO – Freeing up bandwidth for AI innovation while you execute the core engineering roadmap.
• Iterating & Experimenting – We move fast—your work will have an immediate and measurable impact.
