Junior Developer (APAC Region)

At Moodle, we are looking for two motivated and curious Junior Developers to join our Platform Solutions team. The Platform Solutions team plays an integral role in building, improving and maintaining the open-source Moodle LMS (Learning Management System), and is dedicated to creating a platform that all of Moodle's products can leverage while optimising the platform's performance and usability, and integrations with other software solutions and plugins. Whether you're a recent graduate, self-taught or looking for a career change, we want to hear from you! This is a fully remote role and can be offered as a permanent role in Australia, Indonesia, Vietnam or the Philippines. RequirementsWhat your new job can look like At Moodle, no two days will ever be the same, but will involve a mix of:

• Collaborating with experienced developers on designing, developing, and implementing software solutions
• Writing clean, scalable, and efficient code across various platforms and applications
• Participating in code reviews, learning best practices and improving code quality
• Contributing to the full software development lifecycle from concept to deployment and maintenance
• Learning new technologies and tools while solving real-world problems
• Contributing to projects that impact millions of users globally

We'd love to meet you Especially if you can talk to us about your:

• Experience with or knowledge of PHP and JavaScript
• Passion for problem-solving, keen attention to detail and the desire to continuously improve
• Enthusiastic and approachable personality with the ability to build and maintain quality relationships with multiple stakeholders within a global team
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to new challenges quickly
