Data Engineer

Do you want to work on a company’s core product and be a central driver in their success?

You’ll work on the main product and revenue driver for a data science and analytics company that supports small and medium-sized businesses. The focus is on delivering high-level analytics across sales, insights, marketing, and data warehousing, ensuring reliable and impactful data solutions.

Specifically, you will focus on managing data pipelines and ensuring accurate metrics. This includes adding metrics to dashboards, customising reports, debugging raw data, and investigating discrepancies to resolve issues with transformations.

You'll use SQL and Python to optimise ETL processes and ensure data accuracy across the product. While DBT experience is a bonus, it's not required. The role involves troubleshooting and maintaining the data ecosystem to support reliable and consistent reporting.

What you need:

• Really strong SQL, DBT would be great
• Python ideally, if you’re strong in other areas the language is not as important
• Version control & Git
• Some cloud would be a bonus - they’re on AWS

Interview process:

3 Rounds - a quick chat followed by a technical interview and a final culture fit round.

Remote:

Flexible - 100% fully remote anywhere in Ireland. Near Dublin would be ideal for meetups but it’s not mandatory.
