Description We're seeking a skilled Data Engineer to architect and maintain our core data infrastructure. You'll design and implement scalable ETL pipelines, optimize our data warehouse performance, and build real-time data processing systems using Python, SQL, Apache Airflow, and AWS. Working alongside our Business Intelligence team, you'll transform complex data systems into reliable, automated solutions that power company-wide analytics. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience and deep knowledge of data modeling, pipeline orchestration, and cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement enterprise-scale data pipelines, leveraging modern ETL/ELT tools and best practices for optimal performance
  • Lead the configuration and management of Apache Airflow for complex pipeline orchestration across multiple data sources
  • Architect and maintain our Amazon Redshift data warehouse, including optimization of query performance and storage efficiency
  • Develop sophisticated data models and materialized views to support analytical needs across the organization
  • Establish robust data quality monitoring systems and implement comprehensive data governance frameworks
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Required Skillset

  • 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience
  • Expert-level proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Deep experience with marketing analytics platforms and mobile measurement partners (AppsFlyer)
  • Proven track record working with Apache Airflow and AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Strong background in data warehouse architecture, particularly Amazon Redshift
  • Advanced knowledge of real-time data processing and streaming technologies (Apache Kafka)
  • Demonstrated expertise in data modeling, schema design, and version control (Git)
  • Thorough understanding of data governance, security protocols, and quality assurance frameworks

Bonus/Wishlist

  • Programming experience in JavaScript and Rust, with API development background
  • Experience in fraud prevention systems and financial services
  • Track record of mentoring junior engineers and contributing to technical architecture decisions
