Job Description

As a Product Manager at Saasyan, you will play a crucial role in the tactical execution of our product strategy. You will play a vital role in bringing our product strategy to life, seamlessly aligning our strategic goals with development and marketing activities. You will work closely with the Leadership and Development teams to tackle trade-off decisions amidst competing priorities, resource constraints, and technical hurdles. In this role, you'll engage with a wide array of stakeholders—including development, marketing, commercial, customer success teams, customers and prospects—to drive effective product development. Additionally, you will harness data and metrics to guide product decisions, evaluate performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.

You'll get the chance to dive into exciting activities like managing the Product Backlog, overseeing Agile Process Management, enjoying Continuous Discovery, fostering collaboration with stakeholders, and helping to define and prioritize features.

What you will need to be successful in this role

  • This role requires a Product Manager with strong analytical and collaborative skills to support our team in creating high-quality products that meet the needs of both existing and prospective customers, alongside effective problem-solving capabilities
  • A passion for building world class products - we're looking for true 'product people'
  • Proven experience with agile methodologies and product management principles is crucial
  • The capacity to prioritize effectively to maximize the delivery of customer value is vital
  • A solid technical foundation in cloud-based software solutions is anticipated
  • A solid technical foundation in networking and web filtering concepts is anticipated
  • Ability to adapt flexibly to evolving market conditions, customer requirements, and business priorities
  • Experience working in geographically distributed teams
  • Background in market research, competitive analysis, and market trend assessment
  • Experience gathering competitor intelligence to support effective product development and selling strategies
  • Acquaintance with UX design principles and human-centered design methodologies
  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent in a Product Management related subject or Engineering
  • A minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience producing detailed user stories equivalent to product owner details
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliverables.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong commercial acumen, with demonstrated success delivery commercially viable software solutions 
  • Experience creating clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for software products. You will collaborate closely with product support, developers, marketing and other stakeholders to understand the technical aspects of our solutions and translate complex information into easy-to-understand content.
