About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive Framer Website Designer & Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain responsive, user-friendly websites with scalability and long-term usability in mind.
The websites you’ll work on will be within the solar and renewable energy industry, so while experience in this area is a plus, we’re primarily looking for someone with the enthusiasm and ability to learn about this space.
You will be combining your creative design skills and technical expertise to deliver high-performing websites that align with client goals. As a self-motivated individual, you’ll thrive in a remote team environment and be comfortable managing your own time while meeting deadlines. Your attention to detail and ability to proactively address issues will ensure the success of your projects.
Mission:
To design and develop high-performing, scalable, and visually engaging websites using Framer by:
- Prioritising conversion to ensure that clients get the best results possible from their site.
- Focusing on scalability to ensure long-term maintainability and ease of updates.
- Optimising user experience by implementing fast, user-friendly designs.
- Proactively resolving issues to ensure the websites perform at their best.
- Collaborating with the team to ensure designs align with client goals and conversion objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop responsive sites using Framer, ensuring they are compatible across various devices and browsers.
- Regularly monitor websites for issues and resolve them proactively.
- Design graphics and visual assets using your preferred design tool, tools Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and other platforms.
- Build websites with a strong focus on conversion optimisation, integrating clear CTAs, easy navigation, and engaging visuals.
- Provide daily written updates through check-ins, keeping the team informed about your progress.

- Strong problem-solving skills are essential for troubleshooting technical issues in design or functionality. Your proficiency in Framer and other design tools will allow you to tackle complex challenges efficiently and create seamless user experiences.

- The web design and solar/renewable energy industries are constantly evolving. You must stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends to maintain the relevance and effectiveness of your work.
Collaboration & Teamwork:
- While you'll work independently, collaboration is key to success in this role. Regular feedback sessions and team collaboration ensure that your work aligns with the overall goals and continues to improve.

- Creative thinking is essential for developing visually compelling, user-centric websites. Innovation helps push the boundaries of design, ensuring that websites not only look good but also drive engagement and conversions.

Process oriented:
- You will be managing a large number of website buildouts at any one time. You must be process driven but also have the ability to prioritise effectively. We currently do the entire design and development process within Framer, only using other design tools to create graphics etc.
Additional info
- Working Hours: 20-40h per week
- Daily Check-ins: Submit daily written updates on tasks and progress.
- Video Calls: Participate in regular video calls for feedback and collaboration.
