Full Stack Engineer

Full Stack Engineer - AI - Fully Remote - $160k-$210k plus package

We are working with a top AI and robotics firm that is building an open-source operating system to give robots and digital agents multimodal perception. They are developing cutting-edge infrastructure, including blockchain services and smart contracts, to connect real-world robotics to decentralized, trustless systems.

They're looking for a Full Stack Engineer to help build intuitive user interfaces and robust backend services for a next-generation robotics platform. You'll work across the stack, from creating seamless frontend experiences with Next.js to developing scalable APIs that support real-time, autonomous systems. Collaborate closely with robotics engineers, infrastructure teams, and product designers to deliver high-performance, secure software solutions.

This is a fully remote working role and they have their office based in San Francisco, CA.

What You’ll Do:

• Build clean, user-friendly web applications with Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Develop scalable backend services using Node.js, Python (FlaskAPI/FastAPI), or similar frameworks.
• Design and document RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Integrate frontend and backend systems for identity management workflows.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate on UI/UX design translation and participate in architectural decisions.
• Contribute to DevOps practices like CI/CD, testing, and monitoring.

Requirements

• Strong experience with React and Next.js (SSR, routing).
• Backend development skills with Python frameworks (FlaskAPI, FastAPI, etc.).
• Experience with API design and database technologies (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and secure session management.
• Solid understanding of web application architecture and performance tuning.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
