(Senior) Full Stack Developer (m/w/d)

We are seeking a (Senior) Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on API and frontend development to join our fully remote team. In this role, you will design and implement robust backend APIs (in Python), focusing on implementing complex business logic for the APS domain. This includes ensuring efficient scheduling, optimization, and integration with manufacturing processes. Additionally, you will integrate these APIs seamlessly with an Angular-based frontend for our APS application. As a small startup, tasks can be quite diverse, so you’ll have the opportunity to contribute beyond your core responsibilities, whether it’s improving DevOps workflows, optimizing performance, or shaping product decisions. While we operate remotely (in Germany and Spain), we meet several times per year for in-person collaboration to strengthen our team spirit, build genuine connections, and create a shared vision.

• Frontend Development with Angular & TypeScript – Strong experience in building modern, scalable frontends, with a focus on reusable components, responsive design, maintainability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Backend Development with Python – Experience designing scalable backend architectures and implementing complex business logic . Skilled in building reliable RESTful APIs with FastAPI and applying design patterns to ensure clean, maintainable, and high-performance systems.
• Cross-Team Collaboration – Experience working closely with developers and designers to align API design with UI/UX needs.
• Code Quality & Testing – Proficiency in conducting code reviews and writing unit/integration tests to ensure maintainable and high-quality code.
• Security Best Practices – Strong understanding of authentication, access control, encryption, and cloud security principles.

Great extras to have

• Manufacturing or APS Domain Knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing processes or experience working with related software APS/ERP/MES systems (or similar domain-specific applications) is a plus.
• CI/CD Pipelines – Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD workflows using GitLab CI/CD or similar tools.
• Proficiency in German is a plus
