Multiple Analyst positions have become available for an APS5-6 Analyst has been created to aid the teams increase workload due to an influx of business proposals in Victoria.

Your new role Reporting to the Assistant Director of the Regulation division, this role will be responsible for the regulation of sustainable networks and support for the wider leadership team. Further you will be tasked with:

• Conducting in-depth analysis of business expenditure proposals.
• Communicating analysts' findings.
• Assessing costs and drafting recommendations for the board while linking to compliance and legal obligations.

What you'll need to succeed You will be experienced within the energy sector with an analytical mindset, supported by:

• Professional experience and qualifications in a commercial discipline, such as economics, finance, law, electrical engineering or mathematics, would be highly regarded.
• Experience assessing efficiency of capital and operating expenditure proposals.
• Public sector experience would be highly regarded.
• Understand the importance of reasonable and justifiable decision-making in a regulatory environment.
