About The Role We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Software Developer to join our dynamic team working with a prominent global charity dedicated to animal welfare. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that directly impact the lives of animals in need. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications that facilitate veterinary care and animal rescue efforts worldwide. Working within a remote-first environment, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including veterinary specialists, project managers, and other developers, to create innovative solutions that enhance the charity’s operational capabilities. Your expertise will help ensure the platform’s robustness, security, and user-friendliness, supporting the charity’s mission to provide life-saving care to animals globally. Qualifications To succeed in this role, candidates should possess proven experience in full stack development, with a strong technical background in both front-end and back-end technologies. A solid understanding of React, Next.js, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript is essential. Experience working with Prisma ORM and SQL databases is required, along with proficiency in designing and building RESTful APIs. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems like Git, and best practices in software security and data integrity is also necessary. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently in a remote environment, and effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if complemented by relevant experience. Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services utilizing Prisma ORM and SQL databases to support the platform’s needs.
• Create reusable and efficient front-end components using React and Next.js to ensure a seamless user experience across devices.
• Develop and maintain robust APIs to facilitate communication between the front-end, back-end, and administrative systems.
• Translate UX/UI wireframes into fully responsive, accessible user interfaces that meet design specifications.
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive data, ensure system integrity, and optimize overall platform performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define features, and develop technical specifications that align with project goals.
• Work autonomously within a remote-first team, adhering to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to deliver high-quality, maintainable software solutions.
