Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to join our client, a prominent hospital

system in the Midwest, for an exciting opportunity in healthcare technology project

management. In this fully remote role, you will be leading a variety of technology-focused

projects, including business applications, clinical applications, infrastructure, and cutting-edge

Healthcare AI initiatives. If you thrive in dynamic healthcare environments and have a robust

Key Responsibilities:

● Lead complex healthcare technology projects through all phases of the project

lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.

● Manage infrastructure projects, business application projects, and clinical app

projects with a focus on Healthcare AI.

● Work with cross-functional teams including IT, clinical, and business stakeholders to

ensure project objectives are met on time, within scope, and on budget.

● Oversee the planning and execution of projects with a clear understanding of change

management to drive adoption and minimize resistance.

● Support Epic familiarity within healthcare app projects, collaborating closely with Epic

teams (not running Epic projects but ensuring integration or alignment with Epic

systems).

● Apply your expertise in traditional PMBOK methodologies to ensure structured project

management processes and effective risk management.

● Facilitate project communication to ensure transparency and alignment across all

stakeholders, and produce regular status reports.

● Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices, while continuously

improving project management processes.

Must-Have Qualifications & Experience:

● PMP Certification (Project Management Professional) or equivalent recognized

certification.

● Proven experience in Healthcare Technology Project Management.

● Strong background in Change Management methodologies to guide projects and teams

through transitions.

● Generalist experience in managing a variety of project types, including business

application, infrastructure, and clinical application projects.

● Solid understanding of Epic Systems, with familiarity in Epic implementation and

integration (experience running Epic projects is not required).

● Full project lifecycle experience: Initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling,

and closing projects across various environments.

● Experience applying traditional PMBOK principles in managing projects, with a track

record of successful project delivery.

Preferred Skills:

● Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional

teams and manage stakeholder relationships.

● Experience with healthcare compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
