Job Description Sherpany by Datasite is the leading Swiss meeting management solution, designed to meet the unique needs of the board, board committee, and executive meetings. • Provide clear direction, leadership, and mentorship to a cross-functional squad of frontend and backend developers, and potentially other roles like QA, data scientists, data analysts, machine learning engineers, QA engineers or DevOps.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within the squad and cross-squads/departments, ensuring alignment with business objectives and deadlines.
• Foster collaboration and communication among team members, as well as with other departments or stakeholders, to facilitate seamless integration of components and deliverables.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of squad members, providing regular feedback, coaching, and support to enhance individual and team performance.

What We Will Love About You

• Knowledge of backend development languages and frameworks. Experience with Python and the Django framework are a plus.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript for frontend development; familiarity with frontend frameworks like React and Next.js for building responsive and interactive user interfaces.
• Familiarity with software development best practices, including testing methodologies, code reviews, and debugging techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey ideas and information to team members and stakeholders.
• Visionary leadership to inspire and motivate team members towards common goals and objectives.
• Decision-making skills to make informed and timely decisions, considering risks, benefits, and impact on project outcomes
• Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and tracking progress using methodologies such as Agile Scrum or Kanban.
