About The Role We are seeking a motivated Frontend Software Engineer to join our high-performing Product Development team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining cutting-edge healthcare software applications. Your expertise will contribute to building scalable, efficient, and user-friendly features leveraging technologies such as React.js, PHP, and associated frameworks. Working within an agile environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate UI/UX wireframes into high-quality code, ensuring a seamless user experience across various devices and browsers. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a fast-paced healthcare IT company that is actively modernizing medicine. Your contributions will directly impact the delivery of innovative healthcare solutions, improving both clinician workflows and patient care. The role requires proactive problem-solving, effective communication, and a commitment to code quality and best practices. Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of professional web development experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in React.js and related libraries such as Redux, React Router, Zustand, and Recoil
  • Expertise in PHP and frameworks like Laravel or Symfony; experience with Perl or Python is a plus
  • Solid understanding of web standards, APIs, RESTful services, XML, and JSON
  • Strong SQL skills with experience in relational databases, preferably MySQL
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive ownership mindset
  • Commitment to maintaining high-quality, well-documented code
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred
  • Familiarity with design patterns is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate within an agile, cross-functional team to achieve organizational goals
  • Design, develop, and maintain user-facing features using React.js and related libraries
  • Make informed design decisions and tradeoffs within the codebase to optimize performance and usability
  • Create reusable, efficient, and scalable front-end components and libraries
  • Translate UI/UX wireframes into responsive, high-quality code ensuring cross-browser compatibility
  • Utilize user empathy to inform development and enhance user experience
  • Coordinate with QA teams to identify, document, and resolve bugs and regression risks
  • Proactively address technical debt and optimize applications for performance and scalability
  • Identify and troubleshoot UI inconsistencies, performance issues, and bugs
  • Communicate effectively across teams, raising risks early and supporting course corrections
  • Own complex tasks from inception to completion with minimal supervision
  • Estimate tasks accurately and deliver high-quality work within deadlines
  • Navigate roadblocks efficiently and collaborate with team members when necessary
