Mid-Level Java Developer

We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Java Developer to join our team. In this role, you will develop, maintain, and optimize backend systems that support our email validation and deliverability platform. The ideal candidate has solid experience with Java, a strong problem-solving mindset, and a focus on building efficient, scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications and microservices.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.

- Optimize application performance and scalability to handle high traffic and throughput with consistent reliability.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to implement new features.

- Integrate and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases for efficient data storage and access.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in development and production environments.

- Contribute to code reviews and participate in knowledge-sharing within the team.

- Ensure code quality, security, and compliance with engineering standards.

- Stay current with emerging technologies and Java ecosystem updates.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development.

- Strong proficiency in Java 8 or above; familiarity with Java 21 is preferred but not mandatory.

- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MariaDB) and NoSQL solutions (e.g., Redis).

- Comfortable working with Git and collaborative development workflows.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

- Exposure to DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
