Hours:

  • Full time role
  • Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm AEST

Because of growth, Happy HR is currently looking for an HR Consultant/Manager to join the team.

This role maintains and enhances Happy HR's subscribers human resource practices by effectively reviewing, planning and successfully inducting them into the software. Ongoing, this role works closely with all subscribers to assist them with all HR related issues, evaluating employee relations, recruitment, human resources policies, position description alignment, training sessions, seminars and other strategies to drive our subscribers engagement to HR best practice and our platform. 

_You will receive full training and education on the product and role._A day in the life of:

Well for a start, you'll be HR Happy. In this role, you will be responsible establishing, maintaining and develop strong working relationships face to face and over the phone with your clients.

You will be working at a strategic level to assist them in creating HR best practice through policy creation, position description, HR advice & support – all aligned to our clients culture and operational goals.

More specifically, you will:

  • Educate accounts by explaining our software and service
  • Provide general HR advice and be consulting to clients
  • Tend to with incoming queries, issues and day to day needs of your clients as they arise
  • Develop new contacts within your client base to spread awareness of our product
  • Conduct training and product awareness seminars

A little about you:

We are looking for a qualified HR person who can work autonomously as well as part of a team to achieve results. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with your clients are essential attributes if you are to be successful in this role.

If you have a passion for Human Resources, have a good knowledge of current business HR issues and laws and want to work with a variety of clients using a digital product that solves peoples HR problems and anxiety, then is role is for you.

Key requirements:

  • You must have 2 + years of previous experience as a HR Generalist/consultant
  • Ability to resolve client issues like grievances, award interpretation, managing performance plans etc across a variety of industries and backgrounds
  • You must be HR Degree qualified
  • Have an affinity or exposure to HR tech
  • You must have a good knowledge of current business HR issues and laws
  • Excellent phone and email communication skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Excellent organisational skills and be able to prioritise work duties to meet deadlines
  • The ability to give product presentations to various user groups
