The candidate will manage Dedicated Regions (DRCC) and Alloy program that validates product fit and use case aligned to engineering requirements. The candidate will work with the in-region sales teams to ensure the customer understands the shared responsibility model for DRCC or Alloy environment. Being able to work cross functionally in a global environment are important skill sets, whilst also balancing this with the deadlines you will work under to ensure a successful outcome for our customers. Excellent communication skills is required. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical and business skills in this area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction to others. This role requires experiences working within or alongside product management, leadership skills, and strong business judgment. Career Level - IC4 ResponsibilitiesAs a Principal Technical Program Manager for the Dedicated Cloud team, you will be responsible for:
- Communicating to the in-country sales teams the data center and deal qualification requirements.
- Receiving the feedback from the customer and/or sales teams to determine compliance with our standards and seeking noncompliance approvals from the delivery teams where needed.
- Delivering a validation reports to the executive team, highlighting any risks or exceptions needed and drive resolution.
- Working closely with engineering teams translating business requirements into technical requirements to help shape the product.
- Driving alignment on product features, business metrics, and business strategies.
- Assisting in the development of short-, medium-, and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectives for exponential customer and partner adoption.
- Be the voice of customers and partners with Oracle’s various cloud engineering teams.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) at all levels across an organization.
- Experience with Cloud services and Data Center networking.
- Understanding of cloud competitive landscape, customer priorities and challenges.
- Experience using agile software development practices and associated tooling such as Jira.
- Ability to think broadly and strategically.
- Maturity, judgment, negotiation, influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills
- Self-driven problem solver; able to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and customer-focused environment.
- Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn new tools and software quickly.
- Ability to create detailed engagement plans to keep up with the high velocity of features being delivered on the platform
- Demonstrated ability to drive programs and projects to completion.
