Senior Supply Chain Manager (m/f/d) - Montu Therapeutics Germany

Your Role As our Senior Supply Chain Manager, you’ll be responsible for the full lifecycle of our pharmaceutical logistics—overseeing everything from international import to in-country distribution. You'll lead key supply chain strategies, manage relationships with suppliers and logistics partners, and ensure compliance with EU and global regulatory frameworks. This role is especially suited to someone with experience in pharmaceutical or medical cannabis supply chains and a solid grasp of import regulations, GMP processes, and operational buying. Key Responsibilities

• Import & Distribution Oversight Manage the end-to-end importation and distribution of medications across EU and non-EU countries. Experience in the import and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) process, particularly in the context of medical cannabis, is highly appreciated and considered a strong advantage.
• Supply Chain Strategy & Optimization Design and implement scalable, cost-effective supply chain strategies that prioritize reliability, speed, and compliance.
• Regulatory & Quality Compliance Ensure all supply chain activities meet EU pharmaceutical and customs regulations, including GDP (Good Distribution Practice) and GMP standards.
• Supplier & Partner Management Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, wholesalers, freight forwarders, and regulatory bodies.
• Inventory & Demand Planning Forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and mitigate potential disruptions to ensure consistent product availability.
• Process Automation & Digital Optimization Collaborate with Operations and IT to streamline supply chain workflows using digital tools and data analytics.
• Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with Customer Service, Compliance, Product, and Pharmacy teams to support a smooth and compliant medication delivery experience for patients.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in pharmaceutical supply chain management, logistics, or operational buying—preferably in a regulated industry.
• Familiarity with EU import/export laws, customs procedures, GDP, and GMP.
• Experience in the medical cannabis sector is a significant plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on mindset.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
• Strong hands-on start-up mentality
• Fluency in English is required; German on a conversational level.
