About The Role Join us as a member of our Delivery Team for a short-term contract to lead the delivery of exceptional projects and maximize the value of the products we create through effective management of the product vision, roadmap, and backlog. What You've Done

  • You’ve got at least 7 years of experience working in Delivery, preferably in Enterprise environments.
  • Played a dual role as Product Owner and Project Manager in complex, large-scale projects.
  • Delivered successful web-based products with cross-functional distributed teams using Agile methodologies.
  • Partnered with stakeholders to align product roadmaps with business goals and user needs.
  • Managed and refined product backlogs, translating product vision into actionable requirements.
  • Managed successful delivery using risk and decision logs, Gantt charts, stakeholder analysis tools and formal project reporting.
  • Navigated the challenges of leading enterprise-level projects with six-figure budgets and tight timelines.
  • Built strong client relationships while ensuring high-quality deliverables
  • You’ve probably earned CSM or PMP credentials
  • You’ve used Atlassian’s Jira at an advanced level to administer projects, and are familiar with GitHub

Bonus

  • Working on high-scale WordPress installs and platforms like WordPress.com and VIP
  • An understanding of the WordPress community and recent developments in WordPress
  • An understanding of how performance and Core Web Vitals play into the success of websites

What You'll Do At XWP Represent XWP to Client Stakeholders

  • Serve as the main point of contact for the client, ensuring exceptional client experiences
  • Coordinate, schedule and facilitate meetings, capturing and disseminating notes (both internal and external) during our Agile Scrum rhythms
  • Manage and prepare client invoicing

Facilitate Effective Project Delivery

  • Plan and execute project scopes, timelines, and budgets to meet client expectations.
  • Facilitate team communication and Agile rhythms, capturing and tracking actionable insights.
  • Track and manage project deliverables, budgets, and timelines while mitigating risks.
  • Define, manage, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with client goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and designers to create user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Monitor product metrics to make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement and to ensure projects are properly resourced and running efficiently.
  • Translate product vision into actionable tasks for development teams, setting up all necessary project work spaces, including Slack, Jira, and Productive.
  • Review and approve contributor timesheets.
  • Effectively be able to identify when escalation may be needed, and escalate project concerns to appropriate channels.
  • Work closely with Technical Leads to validate technical dependencies and needs to successfully complete projects.

  • An expected pay range of £35 - £50 GBP per hour, or €45 - €60 Euro per hour
