The Senior Manager, Product Management - Admin Tooling is responsible for owning the strategic vision, roadmap, and execution of Alkami’s Admin Tooling platform. This platform is a critical component of Alkami’s digital banking solutions, used by financial institution staff, internal Client Success teams, and Support personnel to manage and optimize digital banking experiences. This role will focus on improving scalability, accelerating implementations, and reducing Support involvement through self-service tooling. The Senior Manager will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Client Success, Support, and other teams to ensure Admin tooling evolves to meet internal and external needs efficiently. This position reports to the VP of Product Services and will manage a Product Manager over our admin tooling, with additional collaboration across teams to drive strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities & Duties Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and own the multi-year strategic vision and roadmap for the Admin Tooling platform.
  • Identify opportunities for scalability improvements, reducing implementation timelines, and increasing automation/self-service capabilities for clients.
  • Align Admin Tooling’s roadmap with broader company initiatives, ensuring it supports Alkami’s growth and operational goals.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve product scalability, reduce reliance on Support, and enhance client enablement.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner closely with Client Success to understand implementation challenges and reduce deployment timelines through tooling improvements.
  • Collaborate with Support to develop self-service solutions that decrease the volume of inbound support cases.
  • Work with Engineering leadership to guide trade-off decisions and ensure technical initiatives, such as the Postgres migration, align with business goals.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to gather insights on platform gaps and prioritize enhancements that drive efficiency.

Execution & Decision-Making

  • Drive high-impact strategic initiatives while assisting in tactical prioritization when needed (e.g., escalations, roadmap trade-offs).
  • Provide guidance to the Product Owner - Admin, ensuring alignment between day-to-day execution and long-term vision.
  • Ensure the team has clear objectives, key results, and success metrics to measure effectiveness.
  • Present roadmap updates and key initiatives to senior leadership and cross-functional partners.

Technical & Domain Knowledge

  • Develop a deep understanding of digital banking admin platforms, including financial institution needs, compliance considerations, and scalability challenges.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices for enterprise admin tooling.
  • Partner with Technology to understand technical dependencies and constraints, ensuring business objectives align with system architecture and development roadmaps.

Experience

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Experience managing admin tooling or enterprise SaaS platforms, preferably within FinTech or banking.
  • Proven track record of defining and executing multi-year product strategies with measurable business impact.
  • Strong background in working with implementation and delivery teams to drive operational improvements via tooling and automation.
